We present five cases of invasivo thymomas. The need for an early diagnosis based on the available laboratory examinations including CT sean is emphasized. The malignant behaviour of thymomas related to the macroscopic invasion of surrounding organic stmctures and/or to the presence of intrathoracic metastasis. Middle sternotomy is the surgical approach of choice, with supplementary, telecobaltotherapy and chemotherapy according to their indications. By using this approach two of our cases have already survived for six and seven years, respectively.
