El hemangioma esclerosante pulmonar es una neoplasia benigna cuya histogénesis permanece todavía incierta. Es muy poco frecuente y su presentación clínica habitual es como nodulo pulmonar solitario. Su tratamiento es quirúrgico. Presentamos un caso de hemangioma esclerosante pulmonar, haciendo énfasis en sus peculiaridades clínicas, histopatológicas y terapéuticas.
Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is a rare and benign neoplasm vvith a still uncertain histogenesis. The common clinical picture is characterized by the presence of a solitary pulmonary nodule. The treatment is surgical. We report a case of pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma and emphasize its clinical, histopathologic, and therapeutic peculiarities.
