One hundred and thirteen patients with continuous oxygen therapy at home (COH) in Navarra were evaluated, with a prevalence of 28, 02/100000 and a mean age of 69,42±10,2 years. The prescription was considered adequate in 60 patients; only 29,2% used oxygen during 15 or more hours. Controls were being carried out in 55 patients (48,6%) and arterial blood gases were being measured in only 33%. It was concluded that a program for COH in our community is requi-red.
