Summary

The efects of β-stimulating bronchodilators have been studied be means of the most common parameters of spirometry and corporal plethysmography.

For Raw values 7 units this parameter is sufficiently discrirninating of pre- and post-bronchodilator values and also manteins a high correlation with the viscous function of the air passages. For these reasons it is considered the prefered parameter in the evaluation for bronchodilators.

For lower values the use of SRaw or V.E.M.S. is prefered.
