The fungal preparations obtained outside and inside of the homes of patients who exhibited sensitization to fungi with positive cutaneous tests aginst antigens from two commercial firms of the species: Alternaria, Aspergillus, Cladosporium and Penicillium were studied. There was an overall correlation rate of 73.03% between the presence of the fungi at the patient's home and the sensitization response, although the individual analysis has not shown a concordance with the frecuency rate of positive test (Mucor, Alternaria, Cladosporium, Penicillium and Aspergillus) nor with the number of colonies isolated (Penicillium, Cladosporium, Alternaria, Aspergillus and Mucor).
