The case of a young HIV positive drug addict who had intravenously injected different diluted oral use drugs over a period of 10 years is presented. Upon admission to hospital due to an acute picture of fever, hemoptisis and pulmonary infiltrate, a transbronchial biopsy demonstrated the existence of pulmonary granulomatosis by talcum and cellulose. The clinical, radiological and functional aspects of pulmonary granulomatosis by intravenously injected foreing bodies are discussed and review of the literature concerning the same is made.
