Se valoraron con cuatro métodos y a diferentes intervalos. Se usó material europeo de bajo coste, para el que se describen algunas adaptaciones. Los autores encuentran coeficientes de varianza para el Vt similar a otros autores con los métodos habituales, sin notar influencias importantes derivadas del nivel de ventilación, pero influidos por el nivel del volumen alveolar al que se inicia la prueba.
