Los hallazgos más frecuentes consistieron en las bullas pulmonares, siendo normal la exploración en el 20% de los casos. La finalidad de la técnica para nosotros fue principalmente diagnóstica aunque también se puede utilizar con fines terapéuticos como pleurodesis, electrocoagulación de adherencias y de bullas así como biopsia pulmonar.
