El área de influencia cutánea correspondiente a los distintos ganglios simpáticos todavía no está claramente de-limitada. El objetivo de este trabajo es definir el territorio de inervación cutáneo correspondiente a los ganglios simpá-ticos T2-T3
Pacientes Y MétodoEn 50 pacientes afectados de hiper-hidrosis primaria se llevó a cabo una simpaticolisis torácica endoscópica bilateral sobre los ganglios T2-T3. Todos los enfermos cumplimentaron un cuestionario preoperatorio y otro pasados más de 2 meses de la intervención. En él valo-raban la sudación de distintas áreas del cuerpo. Con la fina-lidad de delimitar la expresión cutánea de T2-T3, sólo he-mos considerado las zonas de anhidrosis
ResultadosLa denervación obtenida se extiende a las manos (98,11%), axilas (73,58%), brazos (39,62%), frente (20,75%), barbilla, mejillas, cuello y nuca (todos ellos con un 16,98%), zona lateral del tórax (13,2%), zona anterior del tórax (7,54%) y la espalda (1,88%)
ConclusionesEl área de influencia de los ganglios sim-páticos T2-T3 es más extensa de la descrita en estudios ana-tómicos clásicos, en cuanto que el territorio cutáneo inerva-do por los ganglios T2-T3 alcanza a zonas de influencia de T1 hasta en un 20,75% de los pacientes afectados de hiper-hidrosis primaria

Material and methodWe performed bilateral thoracic sympathicolysis endoscopically on the T2 and T3 ganglia of 50 patients with primary hyperhidrosis. All answered a questionnaire before surgery and at least two months later. The questionnaire asked about sweating at different points, but in order to estimate the cutaneous projection of T2 and T3 we only analyzed anhidrotic regions
ResultsDenervation resulted in anhidrotic hands (98.11%); axillas (73.58%); arms (39.62%); forehead (20.75%); chin, che-eks, neck and the nape of the neck (16.98%); sides of the chest (13.2%); front of the chest (7.54%); and back (1.88%)
ConclusionsThe terribory influenced by the T2 and T3 sympathetic ganglia is more extensive than has been descri-bed by classical anatomical studies. The cutaneous area in-nervated by the sympathetic T2 and T3 ganglia extends to zones influenced by T1 in up to 20.75% of patients with pri-mary hyperhidrosis
