Resumen
Hemos revisado muy someramente los tumores traqueo-bronco-pulmonares benignos, prestando especial atención a los adenomas bronquiales, por considerarse actualmente como tumores potencialmente malignos, pero con buena sobrevivencia quirúrgica, cuando se diagnostican y tratan correctamente. Incluso en casos de recidivas se deben reoperar, por la tendencia al lento crecimiento, poca frecuencia de las metástasis, y los buenos resultados a largo plazo.
El resto de los tumores benignos, la mayoría se diagnostican en el estudio anatomopatológico de la piezarese cada. Se deben operar en primer lugar para descartar una tumoración maligna, y en segundo lugar por la posibilidad de su transformación maligna.
Summary
The authors have made a very brief review of benign tracheal bronchopulmonary tumors, giving special attention to bronchial adenomas. Currently these tumors are considered to be potentially malignant, but with good surgical survival when they are diagnozed and treated correctly. Even ¡n cases of relapse they must be reoperated given the tendency of slow growth, low frequency of metástasis and good long term results.
With respect to the benign tumors, the majority are diagnozed in the anatomicopathological study of the resected piece. They must be operated, in the first place in order to elimínate the possibility of a malignant tumor, and, in the second place, due to the possibility of their transformation into malignant tumors.
