Presentamos el caso de una recidiva de toxicidad pulmonar por amiodarona 4 meses después de la suspensión del fármaco y mientras seguía tratamiento con corticoides. Se sugieren como posibles causas la persistencia de niveles sanguíneos elevados de amiodarona y el rápido descenso de la dosis de corticoides.

We present a case of recidivation in amiodarone-induced pulmonary toxicity 4 months after suspension of the drug, while treatment with corticoids was underway. Possible causes suggested are the persistence of high blood levels of amiodarone and the rapid decrease of corticoid dose.
