We present our experience in lung inflammatory pseudotumor through the report of six cases clinicopathologically correlated. There are five males and one female, whose ages range from 8 to 25 years (average 36). Four have symptoms: cough in two cases, hemoptysis and thoracic pain also in two cases, respectively, one case is associated to repeated respiratory infections. Five are localized intraparenchymally and one is intrabronchial. The affectation ot the right lung predominates (four cases). In two cases the lower lobes are affected and in three cases the upper lobes. One shows a multiple affectation of the same lobe.

Diagnosis is carried out with an excisional biopsy, lobectomy or transthoracic biopsy: the histologic diagnoses include: plasma cell granuloma (4), fibrohistiocytary pseudotumor (1), and organizing pneumonia (1). The evolution of all the patients is favorable up to date, with a follow-up ranging from one to nine years.
