A case of relapsing spontaneous pneumothorax coincident with menstruation in a young woman is reported. The patient was operated on, and at operation small emphysematous bullae were found within the lung.

Pathological examination of the removed specimen disclosed ectopic endometrium; therefore, a diagnosis of catamenial pneumothorax secondary to pulmonary endometriosis was made. Treatment with Danazol was also started, and no relapses have occurred since then.
