The radiological features of pulmonary and/or pleural tuberculosis were reviewed in 954 cases collected during four decades. We evaluated their incidence and its evolution with time. As leading features, alveolar infiltration and cavitation were the most common characteristics. The usual localization was, and still is, in the superior lobes. There is a 4% with localization in lower lobes, which has not increased in recent years. We point out to the higher current incidence of bilateral lymphadenopathy. This finding should be considered to prevent diagnostic and therapeutic errors.
