We report on a further case of benign metastasic meiomyoma characterized by the presence of multiple pulmonary nodes of smooth muscle tumoral tissue which showed slight or no growth over a 9 year period. The confusing terminology currently used for this condition is analyzed. As others, we propose the use of this term in patients with lung and uterus leiomyomas, the Ultrastructural findings suggesting an uterine origin. Finally antiestrogen therapy with tamoxifen is proposed considering the hormonal response that seems to be present and the poor prognosis of some cases.
