Se estudiaron los cambios de volúmenes, ciclo respiratorio y presión de oclusión (P<span class="elsevierStyleInf">.1</span>). Los resultados más significativos fueron la reducción del ERV (volumen de reserva espiratorio) en un 27% (p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0,005) y un aumento de la P<span class="elsevierStyleInf">.1</span> en un 32% (p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0,025) y de la IIE (impedancia inspiratoria efectiva) en un 34% (p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0,05). El resto de los parámetros espirográficos o del ciclo respiratorio no se modificaron.
