Resumen

De lo expuesto en nuestra serie hallamos:

  • 1.

Summary

Of that expounded on in their series, the authors have found that:

  • 1.

In 62.86% of the cases the BPT was positive in concordance with the clinical history.

  • 2.

The correlation between the concentration necessary for inducing response by BPT and the intensity of responses by prick is of 0.29. It is meaningful at a level of p < 0.02. While the value of «r» for the BPT results and intradermoreactions is of-0.13 (not significant).

  • 3.

An inverse relation exists between bronchial lability and the quantity of antigen necessary for obtaining a positive response with BPT.

  • 4.

The frequency of positives vary with the antigen.

  • 5.

In 58.2% of the cases of BPT, a decisive value was shown for the etiological diagnosis of asthma.
