Si la asociación estafilococia pleuropulmonar y pericarditis exudativa es evidentemente poco frecuente, lo es mucho menos asociada con pericarditis constrictiva en fase aguda.
Presentamos un caso ele pericarditis constrictiva aguda asociada a neumopatía hullosa estafilocócica. Hemos considerado útil describir este cuadro por su dificultad diagnóstica dada la rareza de la asociación y la importancia de su diagnóstico precoz y rápido tratamiento, de lo que depende la buena evolución del proceso, junto al interés de conocer mejor estos cuadros tan graves, por su cada vez más frecuente presentación.
If the association of pleuropulmonary staphylococcia and exudativo pericarditis is obviously seldom frequent, the association of the former with constrictivo pericarditis in the acute pitase is even less so.
The authors present a case of acute constrictive pericarditis associated with staphylococcic bullous pneumonopathy. The authors have felt it useful to describe this clinical pieture for two reasons. The first is due to its diagnostic difficulty given the rarity of the association and the importanco of a precocious diagnosis and rapid treatment, upon which a good evolution of the process depends. The second is the interest of knowing better these very grave cases due to their increasingly frequent presentation.
