El mucor es un patógeno de distribución mundial, oportunista, con una frecuencia de afectación pulmonar del 22% y con una mortalidad que se estima en el 83%. Presentamos un caso de mucormicosis pulmonar que se resolvió satisfactoriamente con tratamiento medicoquirúrgico.

Mucormycosis is an opportunistic mycotic infection, the frequency of pulmonary infection is 22% and the associated mortality rates were 83% for pulmonary. We present a case of pulmonary mucormycosis survived after the therapy with amphotericin B and surgery.
