We report on three patients with mediastinum primitive germinal malignant tumors of non-seminomatous origin. The most consistent radiological findings of such tumors are discussed. While the clinical and radiological findings do not allow their differentiation from other mediastinum conditions, that diagnosis has to be suspected whenever a large size anterior mediastinum mass is found by X-ray examination in an otherwise healthy young adult male. The usefulness of CT scan in the diagnosis and follow-up of these tumors is emphazised.
