The case of a 58 year old male patient whose thorax radiography presented several images of condensation in the right lung and in whom the clinical-biological study performed showed no significant alterations is reported. Upon fine needle transbronchial aspirative punction through fiberoptic bronchoscopy the diagnosis of BALT (bronchus associated lymphoid tissue) type lymphoma was obtained, being posteriorly confirmed by thoracotomy. The capacity of transbronchial aspirative punction is herein emphasized as a non inva-sive diagnostic test in primary pulmonary lymphomas.
