The study of a hilar mass in the lung of an asymptomatic woman detected at a routine radiologic examination led to the diagnosis of aneurysm of the proximal portion oí a main branch of the left pulmonary artery. Further studies revealed the presence of two aneurysms in peripheral branches, with secondary arterial alterations suggestive of Hughes-Stovin's syndrome.

We discuss the clinical features of our patient and the findings at complementary examinations. We also discuss the possible pathogenesis of multiple arterial aneurysms of the lung, their course, prognosis, therapeutic modalities, and the differential diagnosis.
