Se presenta el caso de una paciente afecta de neumonía eosinófila crónica (NEC) que, tras iniciar tratamiento corticoideo, presentó una evolución clínico radiológica correcta. Tras resaltar la rareza de esta entidad nosológica, se subraya el interés diagnóstico que comporta el lavado broncoalveolar en la NEC.
A case of a woman with chronic eosinophilic pneumonia (CEP) who showed a good clinical and radiological evolution after corticosteroid therapy is reported. The rarity of this condition is emphasized, stressing the diagnostic usefulness of bronchoalveolar washing.
